Take thinks literally? What does THAT mean? Surely you mean take THINGS... Anyway, lets say I do understand what you are saying. 'Stop taking things literally'. Is that why you are still whinging about that 'supporter' thing that was a joke?

lol i was having laugh! On this forum everyone takes thinks literally and peopke should be able to express there opinions with out being shot down. If they think Roger should go/stay its up to them. However, I am undecided! He hes done an amzing job, and is a great guy, but is it a new approach we need?

im not saying i have been a manager but u seem to be very opinated and my opinion you dont really know how hard it is for roger , yes he got us up and yes we have gone down but where was the budget he needed to compete at that level i was at the dover game and in both games we were superb and incase u didnt know thats playing against a side with over double the budget roger has had ! every1 is behind roger and you seem to be the only person putting negative comments on here ! Dover over twice your budget ? if you are paying approx 50% of Dover's budget then you should have finished in the top half of the table and Roger should go. I would be amazed if you are paying 20% of Dover's budget or even 33% of clubs like Tooting and Mitcham, Dulwich Hamlet, Hastings, Maidstone or Fleet. Unless you can compete Budget wise with the Majority of clubs in this league you will find it almost impossible to survive in it, we will probably be relegated which is only to be expected with our non budget. Roger is a good manager and a great bloke, you will not get better results out of somebody else on the same budget.

I have been overwhelmed with the wonderful support shown by so many, and i thank you all very much indeed. What i would say is that a manager is there to be judged on results, and on that basis i have failed this season. But i would like to think that i am still a good manager and one that has always done his utmost for GTFC and still capable of gaining further success for the club. Football has been my life for the best part of 35 years and i guess it is in my blood, but sometimes things happen for a reason, and i am looking on this season being very much a learning curve for everyone at Godalming and that the club will take stock on why things have happened the way they have this year and look forward, not back, because the club still have so much to achieve................and it will. so stay positive every one of you!

must be i reckon. he wins my support back. Can't wait for next season. If Roger can steer (sorry!) the ship back on course then he's the only man for the job. Hopefully by this time next year we will have been promoted back to the ryman league and with the correct attitude, commitment, players and manager this is definateley possible. And you can't blame the budget too much, look at Reading this season. About 1% of chelseas expense and in the top half of the premiership
