Another fine win, another hard earned three points. Well played boys, you fought and got what you deserved. When we first signed Andy he had some brilliant performances. He was proclaimed as the best crosser of the ball in the division. What has happened now? Rumour has it amongst the ordinary supporters is that he is carrying an injury and maybe cannot last more than an hour. Will somebody anwer this for us? He certainly doesn't appear to be playing with the same zest. One had the impression yesterday after half time his head was down and that no matter how he played he knew he was going to be taken off; perhaps I'm wrong. Irrespective of tactics or injury when he was taken off it was noticable that there was no acknowledgement or consoling arm to him for his performance from management. Surely if somebody is going through a rough spell isn't consolation and encouragement cosidered to be a tonic! I rest my case; I didn't get the answer to my previous posting so let's not be too optimistic with this one!

Seems to me like Andy is more of an impact player, and is best when brought on as a sub. Whether this is because of fitness/injury I do not know.

I'm sorry to say that watching from the sidelines, it seems that the players are getting far more 'stick' than they are 'carrot' these days. Players like Andy and Brahim and Adam offered high levels of excitement, skill and invention when they first arrived but this seems to have been slowly but surely driven out of them to be replaced by a fear of making mistakes. It MAY work in terms of league position, it MAY not be the case during training and match preparation, but I do know that fear is no motivation in creativity.

Thanks for your comments Hendo. I'll take them on board and maybe fire another salvo after the week-end.
