It rained pretty heavily overnight in Godalming and is still coming down now.
However, it is meant to stop raining soon and stay dry for the rest of the day.
I will post any news here through the day...

why? it is sunny now in Godalming, surely the pitch can't be that bad,, we had near the 50 mark tonight coming in the shed end!!

It rained heavily all night and up until 10am. The weekend's rain has made the watertable high also - (A-Level Geography wasn't a complete waste of time!).
The pitch was apparently under water in many places when it was inspected by a referee earlier!
Trust me; if we could have played, we would have played!

No chance! Games take a lot of organisation to hold! Refs need booking, people need to book time off work, transport needs arranging, food cooked, and a million other things behind the scenes! You can get sponsorship off all the Godalming lot on Saturday (if you make Horsham that is  ) |

well i the evening training session off today because i got a call from a Matt Taylor, good friend of mine, and he said come to the Gees game. so i was on my way when he phoned up and said stop! its called off!
