Godalming Towns Future

I put the following in a thread yesterday and I wondered if anyone has any comments?

"I wonder what the clubs plan is regarding promotion to level 3? Is there a 5 year plan to get the finances in place ready for possible ground improvements, wages and travel cost or are we blindly looking for promotion and hoping that all "that sort of stuff" will come out in the wash?"

I think the problem the club has always had is blindly going forward with very little budgetting, planning or forecasting. Something which was raised at the beginning of this season. I believe that Chris Terry is doing an amazing job trying to sort out the finances of the club though, so wish him luck.
We will be able to see how they've done so far with small gates etc when the accounts are released.
Maybe this is an issue that should be raised at the AGM?

i agree chris is one of the few people at godalming who has only the best intrests of the club keep up the excellnt work chris gdalming would be lost without you
