The Bill Kyte Testimonial match will take place on Saturday 5 April at Wey Court. The Testimonial has been arranged to honour our long serving Club President and to recognise his many decades of work at the club.
The current Godalming Town First Team will be managed on this occasion by Paul Donaghy (Director of Football) and Steve Plunkett (Reserve Team Manager). They will take on a team of Godalming Town Veterans managed by Stan Brayburn (First Team Coach) and Chris Terry (Treasurer).
The Veterans team will feature the following former Godalming Town players (amongst others): Ian Robson, Gary Wallis, Simon Rose, Steve Mitchell, Dave Robson, Mick Robson, Phil Robson, Paddy Hampshire, Vic Flynn, Jimmy Clarke, Keiron Salter, Mike Ambler, Stuart Diprose, Steve Darlington, Dave Skilton, Simon Neil and Chuck Martini.
A souvenir programme will be on sale which will feature many photos, tributes to Bill and many of the usual articles. The Guards Division Core of the Drums Association will also be on hand to provide a little non-footballing entertainment. The FA Cup Semi Final between West Brom and Portsmouth will be shown live in the clubhouse prior to the big match on the Wey Court pitch that kicks off at 3pm.
So why not join us for what should be a really enjoyable afternoon?

Just wanted to write and say what a great day i had on saturday. Congratultions to Bill you derserved your testimonial. I really enjoyed the match and it was so nice to see so many old faces that have served this club well. Of The vets i thought Barrie Keeley was excellent and proved he could do a job in the first team. He has the club in his heart and surely would prove a valuble signing. Good luck for the rest of the season Tel
