How long has it taken them to work this out? Just stop it completely. Bugger the TV money that's what it all about.
All top-flight clubs have now been given an “enhanced” set of measures that ban all shirt-swapping and warn against handshakes or hugging during matches. The new rules would be ratified at the next shareholders’ meeting but, because of the urgency, the proposals will be implemented immediately.
The Premier League is aware of the rising public anger with high-profile footballers who have flouted lockdown rules in recent weeks and has therefore decided to reinforce the message of responsibility to its clubs and players.
Maybe some of these so called men and women overpaid "prima donnas" (it won't hurt me) should be given a tour of the hospitals and see the desperate states of people instead of just a slap on their wrist and a meaningless fine. OK there's a percentage of British included but let's be realistic all these foreign imports just here for the money couldn't give a toss about the happenings in this country just so long as the "bucks" roll out into their accounts.
The game was good when each club was limited to 2 imports back in the days of Muhren and Thysen at Ipswich who fitted in at their clubs. The worst thing that has happened is to allow all these money grabbing foreigners and agents into our national game. . . . I could go on but I've work to do.
And now all that bl**dy stupidity at Crawley in the cup has come back to bite them in the foot!
It was so noticeable on TV the following Monday morning one of their players was being interviewed from Bristol. I ask you what an idiot travelling down there whatever the circumstances when Bristol had one of the highest infection rates around! Real uneccessary travel.
