Forgetting Gees doom and gloom of yesterday our thoughts are with Glenn Hoddle and hope that his condition improves, plus the tragic news about the helicopter crash at Leicester City FC.

Glenn came over to Haslemere one Saturday afternoon and watched his Nephew playing against Hammer United. Hammer United had a pitch with a considerable gradient from side to side in a clearing in Hammer Copse. Dear old Kipper Adams plied Glenn with cups of tes all afternoon.
Sadly now Hammer's ground was taken from them and after becomming nomads the club is no more after at one time running 3 teams.
