Can't believe I've seen this that pat cox has signed for Farnborough. GODAlMING what the f**k is going on letting a decent player like this go.

Hi I can see Pat has gone, didn’t expect him to stay long, he’s probably had more clubs the Tiger Woods, are we getting new players to replace him, as we had a break of 10 days without a game couldn’t a friendly have been arranged for today, would have made sense .

Yes, that's a pity Winchester City had a blank Saturday today so a great opportunity was missed.
Davo could have been invited to bring his team up and show Godalming Town just what they missed out on.
Water under the bridge now you might say; but an Elephant never forgets.

18.50 13/10
I find it strange that no comment appears to be forthcoming from Official Gees. Perhaps they're just shell shocked or even relieved.
Surely there must have been a 7 day approach so in that case they could have had a prepared statement ready.
Losing the club's "prized" goal scorer and still after almost 24 hours nothing gets said.
OK, volunteers have other commitments and are not always in a position to act but someone must have had the time to come on and opened up. It just beggars belief.

I was surprised that Pat had signed for Farnborough as myself or club secretary had not had any approach from them. This is something that we are looking in to.
We are waiting for a response from them.
We could not compete with what Farnborough would be offering Pat.
He would be dual-registered with Farnborough so would still be able to play for Godalming if he wanted to.
We wish Pat all the best for the future.

Thanks Ross.
I guess it appears Spencer treads roughshod all over somebody again without a care.
Nothing from their end to indicate dual reg. But whatever the case surely there should have been a proper approach.
If it wasn't as you say it must be a case for the FA to sort out and he should not have played on Saturday at Tiverton. Think back to the situation here with Brice on dual reg with Gosport; all about permission not given and points deducted.
And finally if a guy turns around and does that to you surely you cannot wish them well. Yes, by all means thank them for their services.
It's strange that everywhere he goes he tweets it's always the best set of fans he's played in front of!
If you read Boro news you'll see Spencer had been eyeing this move up for sometime.

Well he didn't stay at Farnborough for long. He's gone. Perhaps he's gone and got a job!
