It was so annoying, it went on non stop throughout the game and wherever you stood you could hear it. You couldn't get away from it.
I did hear a couple of years ago that he had disappeared. Incidently I don't know if you realised he was one of us; he is/was a Postman but I've no idea which delivery office he worked out of. I wonder if he chanted out on delivery!

Ches was for me, one of the joys of non-league football. Ash carved his name with pride on the newly laid concrete on the section of the pitch that he patrolled. Unfortunately he became disillusioned with football after a disappointing World Cup, featuring diving and cheating, and only returned for one (or possibly) two more games.
A genuine eccentric, he did get into trouble in his role as a postman because he kept writing the words 'Ash, Ash United' on envelopes that he was delivering which already had Ash listed on the address.
An extraordinary ability to keep up constant chanting and banter by himself for ninety minutes. It drove the opposition players and fans mad, I was at Young's Drive when a goalkeeper had to be restrained from taking him on physically.
I really hope he has had a change of heart and has started attending again.
Football needs characters.

Home shirts to fit like a glove and also warming up tops.
After having to dry in tumble dryer. Was rewashed as well and I do not need a shower now until Christmas

Very disappointing result . . . . could it have been anything to do with the tight fitting shirts restricting the defenders movements.
COYG's make Farnham Town pay for it on Monday morning.

Looked ok the first half, one wasted 1 on 1 by a heavy touch, should have gone into the break in the lead. Defending was awful again though, not for the first time this season.
