Horndean 5 Godalming Town 2. I hope I'm wrong.
Michael Birmingham has put together a more than useful side down there. I 'm sure Les will enjoy the "battle" trying to outwit one of his old adversaries.

A bold prediction from Dave. Well I'm going for 1-2 based on no knowledge of the opposition whatsoever ..and not a lot more knowledge of our present incarnation either.

I'm not sure Comeonugees but I don't think we get draws in the early FA Cup anymore. I think it's extra time and then penalties.

Hi Shottermiller,
Think there are still replays etc up to Quarter final.
Please see below taken from FA Site.
REPLAYS, POSTPONED AND ABANDONED MATCHES (MATCHES PLAYED PRIOR TO THE QUARTER-FINAL) (a) Replays (i) When a first match has resulted in a draw, it shall be replayed on the ground of the Club drawn second: in the Qualifying Competition – as directed by The Association; in the Competition Proper – as directed by The Association. (ii) When a replayed match is drawn after 90 minutes, an extra 30 minutes shall be played, and 15 minutes shall be played in each half. (iii) If the score is still level at the end of extra time, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by the International Football Association Board.
May be worth someone checking though :-)
I will predict a draw in todays game and Godalming to win replay.

Thanks onefinfarncombe, I appreciate your notes. Could be I've mixed up with the FA Vase or maybe I've also got a thing in the back of my mind about if both teams agree beforehand they can complete the tie without the need of a replay. Age and too many rules and regulations complicate matters and the grey matter!
