I'm happy with that; a great appointment in my opinion, well worth the wait.
Welcome aboard Les. I saw you play on numerous occasions against us down at Bognor Regis Town and you always put in a good performance; sometimes to the Rocks detriment.
Les was a very confident and exceptionally good commanding his area goalkeeper.
I'd forgotten all about him until looking through some old programmes so I looked him up only to discover he was gk coaching at Chelsea. I wonder if our Andy Ottley who probably worked with him at Chelsea told him what a good place Godalming Town could be.
Edit: It's along time ago now but I would have likened his style to very similar to our former manager Chuck Martini. Let's hope there's a similarity in the managerial stakes but without the explicits!

That’s why he’s called ballboy 2 haha, just glad it’s not ballboy 2000 . Looking forward to meeting les and we can only improve now . Good luck for the season ahead.
