Does anybody know yet about the league yet, or are we at the side of the table waiting for the fa scraps! Do you get parachute payments at this level? Please.

Still can't find anything concrete as there are a few uncertainties.....
But, I think GTFC will be safe.....Just!!! Based on the below that I have gleaned from the Searching the Internet....
What we do know is the CCPL MUST have 20 teams next year.
Westfield & Bedfont promoted = 20 teams.
One team relegated from Step 4 = 21 teams.
ONE team only from CCD1 gets promoted = 22
So on that basis 2 get relegated from CCPL = 20 teams....
.....Thus GTFC would be safe this year! Just!
But like everyone is saying.....no one actually knows until the shake up has been done.
I think it's going to be a nervous wait for many clubs over the next few weeks.

Some more digging....has revealed more uncertainty!
The 4 bottom teams from the Step 4 Isthmian & Southern leagues could (depending on geographical positioning) NOT get relegated into the CCPL.....
Thus if my initial post was correct.....Only 1 team from the CCPL would need to be relegated.
However I found something else which said. Anything from 0 up to 3 from CCD1 could get promoted......which would or could mean 3 or maybe 4 teams could get relegated from the CCPL....
What a mess! No more researching for me.......I guess until the constitutions have been formally agreed at Step 3&4.....Steps 5/6/7 won't know their fate?

Looking at the League rules they can promote 3 clubs from Division One down to 6th place if the clubs have the grading. Cobham, Badshot Lea and Raynes Park Vale fit that criteria, assuming RPV still have that grading. On that basis 3 clubs will go down unfortunately. That's assuming the FA don't relegate anybody from Step 4 or move anybody across from another Step 5 Division.

There’s no place on forums for rumours or supposition, so let’s stick to fact and wait and see. Anyway my mate works at the petrol station at the back of the ground. I can’t give names but he served one of the Ryman North’s top scorers who said he was likely to join Godalming next season, no matter what league we are in. He’s going through a very messy divorce and wants to cut his income to stop her in doors getting it. i understand he has opted for contract terms that only pay on a win.
okay a couple of you have asked me to name names. My mates called Darren.

The FA meet to discuss movements between Steps 1-4 Leagues on 8th May with decisions due to be confirmed at a Commitee Meeting on 10th May.
Decisions are due to be announced on Sunday in the Non League Paper.
Steps 5,6,7 will take an extra week as there are games still to play

Thanks, John !!! And Chalfont St.Peter, Waltham Abbey, Bracknell ( ex-Gs Cornell, McClurg, Short ), Fleet ( Lloyd, Musgrove, Wales), South Park ( Mazzone ), Chipstead et al. Not the most enticing away days, so you will probably see me at Wey Court more than I was, perhaps, anticipating.

So the decision is tomorrow but not sure when it will be announced, it would be good if we had confirmation on who the manger will be by then.
