We got beaten, Banstead won I do wonder why some people think we are alright with Gav and John? Am I missing something, A3, M25, M3, defeat. Just change the roads, defeat

It's been now been two years of mainly defeats,we need some hope. The appaling previous appointments did the damage, and Gav and Jon have had to pick up the pieces.I think just two wins could do it.

I agree with you ballboy 2 , Gav and Jon took over a pile of poo if it hadn’t been for cancellations who knows what position we could be in. I think it might need 3 wins though or maybe only two get relegated, why are the fa keeping it secret it’s not being very fair to clubs in our position! Anybody know how many go down yet.

I like everyone else have read lots of different articles. Yet, it is indeed still a little ambiguous and uncertain.
But what appears set in stone is •The CCPL will only have 20 teams next season. •The Top team this year will be promoted from CCPL •The 12 best runners up (on points per game average) in all the 14 Step 5 leagues will also be promoted •Only 1 team will be relegated from Each step 4 League.
So IF 2 get promoted from CCPL, 1 drops from step 4 into CCPL, 2 get relegated from CCPL and 1 gets promoted from CCD1 into CCPL that would make 20 teams for next season, and thus 3rd Bottom (Currently GTFC) would be safe.
However it appears there are many variables; examples being clubs higher up the pyramid folding or Teams lower down the pyramid not having the required grading, teams joining together etc.
Sadly this all leaves a lot of uncertainty. But from what I've read and researched I would say finishing in the bottom two would mean almost certain relegation. And finishing 3rd bottom is a bit of a lottery!!!!
But if Banstead win 1 more game then GTFC will need a Minimum of 3 wins and 1 draw from the remaining 5 games. (I'm assuming Chertsey on recent form will get atleast 1 point from their remaining 5 games that is) to get out of the bottom 3.

Well said Ballboy2, true words indeed. And yes Goldenoldie your reasoning is very true. And another well said and thanks to Bourbonvilla for explaining that rather complicated compilation of CCL eventualities.

The only one I would class as appaling would be Dean. Dan T had few wins but he’d more or less inherited a lost cause. That said I can’t remember a game where we didn’t put in a gutsy performance and fought for everything. I always came away from those games thinking we had given everything and we were playing decent sides. I don’t see that at the moment, maybe it’s a confidence thing but there Seems to be as much effort put in to appealing the refs decisions as fighting to win. Week on week I haven’t seen an improvement, third is best we can hope for unless of course Epsom or Farnham can put some results together

And there’s a lot of debate on twitter about how many go down. The view seems to be, it’s the top 3 from the lower division would come up, providing they meet grading requirements. If they don’t meet the grade it will be passed down to 4, 5 and 6.
