But I do support them off the field but as a minimum we need a performance. I didn’t say a win, just a performance.

Maybe we could do with a James Coburn and take a wander South to meet up with Partisans at the border........I am really saddened to see the club fall like this. The wrong decision taken 18 months ago has crippled this once 'Positive' 'Vibrant' and 'Enjoyable' club. It CAN recover. I would like to see and be a part of that recovery, otherwise I guess I'll join Coburn and turn South.

Yes Crete2000 here's a quote from one of the supporters at his present club.

"All in all a very decent season full of entertaining stuff and some very close calls on getting a few more wins snatched away by late goals. The players and management are a credit to the club and let's hope this group can be kept together. Good buzz about the place and a shame we didn't finish so well although clearly how we didn't beat Cirencester last week will forever be a mystery .

Already looking forward to next season and well done to everybody at the club."

That's about the Manager who the club and Gees Supporters were cheated out of. A Manager who really wanted to come to Wey Court. That's what we missed.

This is in no way meaning anything detrimental about Jon and Gavin. They were also Guys who wanted to come to the club at the start of this season but were overlooked in favour of men with plans on paper. I'm sure J & G will do a fine job next season.

I think the appointment of Jon & Gavin was a big positive for the club. Matt Clay has taken on the role as Chairman. Nice guy and I have a lot of time for him.

Yep couldn’t agree more, for the first time in a while the club is in safe hands now, just needs some of the old fans to return to give their support now.

Out of interest what evidence is there to support the positivity around Jon and Gavin, its certainly not based on results?

Having been around football all my life you know when you have two good men in charge. They are here because they want to give something back to Godalming Town and make us a good football club again. A few extra players added to the squad over the summer we will be in contention next year. Well I'm having a little say I would like to say thank you to all the people who have stepped in at Godalming and helped out,but my special thanks go to Jane just brilliant how you alwsys step up in a crisis. Just like to finish by saying whatever League We are in next year if John and Gavin stay I'm sure they would do us proud.
