Stuart Coles posted this on the Bognor Regis Town Forum:
I find it interesting that Concord Rangers who are one of the teams we are aiming to catch to avoid relegation have last night issued a statement on their website that they will not be travelling to Truro today for their fixture due to the adverse weather conditions rightly citing cost and safety above risk to players and fans etc. This however is in direct contrast to a statement on the Truro website stating that as of last night the pitch is playable and as far as they were concerned the game is on unless the weather dictates otherwise today. I wonder what the ramifications would be if Truro confirmed the pitch playable yet Concord refused to travel. I would assume forfeit of match by Concord but possible appeal on grounds of extenuating circumstances due to weather.
An update from the Truro City Twitter:
TONIGHT'S scheduled home game against Concord Rangers has been postponed as our opponents are unable to travel due to the weather conditions.
No new date has been set at this stage for the rearranged fixture.
It looks as though common sense has prevailed by the League.
