Whilst enjoying watching the FA Cup tie I just wondered if anyone can spot a connection between the Rochdale goalkeeper and Godalming Town or maybe it was Godalming & Guildford.

Hope I'm correct; I'm 98% certain but I could get egg on my face. I don't keep stats apart from in the memory and of course as one gets older it does tend to dim.
Well let's see if anyone can agree or add to my answer.
I think Josh Lillis, the Rochdale goalkeeper's brother played a few games for Godalming at the end of Steero's time.
His name I think was Brian Lillis and he was in the RAF at Odiham. There was him and another chap whose name I cannot remember but I think might have been called Ian and both as serving Airmen came from the RAF Station at Odiham.
The other chap I think went on to play for Gosport Borough. I remember him coming back and playing against Gees at a later date.
I reckon they both played half a dozen games for Gees..
