Does anyone know what is happening league wise at the end of this season? A figure was quoted to a friend whilst up at City on Saturday that 6 clubs would be relegated from this league which I thought was rather strange. I thought it was only 1 going down. With the re-arranging and adding to the leagues I thought that clubs would be going up with teams from the lower echelons of the County Leagues would be rising and ground grading would go by the board to allow this.
Of course nothing might not be in black and white yet. Please help!

Shottermiller If you go to the F A Website. Type in 'The National League system' into the search option. This will bring up a list of possibles. This will include a PDF for the 'National League System structure and procedure for 2017/18'. It's quite lengthy and long winded but in short (I only had time to scan read it) it looks like DEFINATELY the bottom side gets relegated with NO reprieve from STEP 5 Leagues. And don't quote me but looks like that'll be it. This is all to allow (for this season only) for the FA to introduce another division at STEP 3 (a central division to alleviate travelling) Thus they need to 'Upfill' Hope that helps and enjoy the read

The PDF you want is actually titled 'THE REGULATIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE SYSTEM'

Thanks for that; I'll do some delving after I've done my chores! It does make sense to bring in a Central division. There are some ridiculous distances as it stands. Thanks again, Dave
