Well we enjoyed another great afternoon at weycourt today watching the ladies team beat the league leaders in convincing style. Well done to the team 2-0 . It was very cold out of the sun today ☃️

Seconded. Just wanted to say what a pleasure it's been to watch GTFC Ladies this season. They were good last year but have seamlessly stepped up a level this year. After starting the season brightly they've met every new challenge with talent, effort, composure and organisation. They've taken on teams from higher divisions in the FA Cup and won, they've beaten teams who expected to put seven past them and they've convincingly beaten teams at the top of their own division. This does immense credit to all involved, both on and off the pitch. A squad with genuine depth, an exceptional team ethic and organisation. Everyone knows their job and everyone backs their team-mates 100%. The team spirit is such that it's hard to single out individuals so I won't, suffice to say that everyone supporting the Gs at Wey Court this afternoon had a splendid afternoon despite the baffling idiocincracies of a ref that cards a player for a push but turns a blind eye to a keeper catching the ball outside the area in a one by one. Best thing about this afternoon was Megan's breakaway goal, without which the last five minutes would have been unbearably tense. Also if anyone can find the time it's well worth watching the Ladies Dev team in the knee high grass of Broadwater at 11:00. They came back from two down against a very strong Peckham side and were unlucky not to have taken all three points. They were vociferously supported by the ladies first team and parents but deserve a bigger audience.

Totally agree. I wasn't the only one at the match yesterday to say that so far this season I have enjoyed watching the Ladies' matches more than the Mens' matches. Hopefully, Jon and Gavin will bring back the enjoyment to the Mens' team. In the meantime, carry on the great work Ladies.
