Its has been confirmed that we WILL be in the Combined Counties next season. Corinthian-Casuals did not survive, so even if we had finished second bottom we would not have stayed up. Farnborough will not be in the CCL next year, but the Southern S & W.

www.tonykempster.co.uk/maps07-08.htmCorinthian Casuals will find it strange that they weren't reprieved and Stourport Swifts from the Southern League were... Casuals finished higher in their league and have a better playing record. Oh well... Also, nice to see that Chatham survive despite clearly not meeting the ground grading requirements. What is the point of setting a deadline if teams can get long extensions and others are turned down??? This, however, does not take away the fact that we finished bottom and therefore deserve to be relegated. Hopefully next season will see the club bounce back and re-enter the Ryman League with far more experience and know how.

It says on the ryman website quote ' Subject to Chatham Town giving certain assurances by 30th May 2007'. This won't affect us though will it if they some how fail their grading? We deserved to go down i guess and hopefully next season will be a good one.

If, if, Chatham fail the ground grading, Corinthian would be saved, not us.

Finishing bottom we desrve to go down, would have been nice if some rule saved us! Let's look forward to next year and hope we can keep a large number of the squad and gain promotion. Lets go straight back up!
