You can tell how long it's been since Maidstone were promoted a league, they can't remember what it was like to go up and all of the challenges that presents. Ground improvements, increased pressure from the FA and the number of travelling supporters. They say bumpy [itch, poor clubhouse and food was too slow....... We might not have it right yet, but we're trying very hard, can they name a ground that has better food, faster than ours. The kitchen was open from 6.30 till 9pm with a 5 min closure to stock. Very disappointed with the comments from their fans. B******s, they won isn't that enough! To the guy who had a flat tyre on the way home.... shame

I for one didn't moan. Thought the ground was quite quaint, what non-league football is all about. Food was nice and worth the wait, mind you I did get in at 6.40pm.
As for the match itself, I commented to your keeper that you had the lions share of play and that a draw would have been a fair result as it never looked like any of us was going to score, we just got the lucky break.
Good luck for the rest of the season, and make sure you 'shed boys' don't stop singing, it created an atmosphere!!

For what it's worth i felt the food was great. Anyhows, just to correct a few things, we were promoted at the start of the season, so yes we remember, fortunately for us ground improvement wise was moving a sink , and as for travelling support, apart from dover were yet to experience many* Unfortunately why i think a few are moaning is the running out of beer and programmes before kick off, it's one of those things i guess. You'd never had got it right! *Yes you guys visited and were blinding as a few other clubs, but it was the same amount as we got in the kent league. I for one enjoyed last night.
