team Update-the start of the season

So the season is under way.
7 games in and a bit of a mixture of results but still currently in the hunt at the top end.

Firstly on behalf of the squad and the management I'd like to that the supporters for continuing to get behind the lads each game at home and away they really appreciate it.

Secondly I just wanted to inform you that the last few weeks has seen us hit by the covid isolations and also players (and management) going on holiday.

This has given the entire squad some game time and experience of the new league we have found ourselves in.

Going into September we can wish the u18 side all the luck as they begin there fa cup campaign as well as there league.

How do you rate the Sussex County League (said purposely) to the CCL.? It's probably a good step on the ladder to upward acheivements!
Good to see the vastly experienced James Mariner playing but is he not available each game?

The league is different for sure as the officials. We seem to get penilised alot more for tackles in the league.

In regards to comparison I think it's fairly similar but for us the plan was to try to get up to the top. Pack and try to stay there.

There is more travelling so more commitment required from everyone but at the moment everyone seems to be on board.

Saying that we do have an injury list and a few not available at present

We have recently loaned out both Harry Dowell and victirydike to fleet spurs but may have to call them back sooner.
Vinnie martin is also out on loan to Hambledon.

So a little thin at the moment but the lads are pulling together.
