Looking through the contacts list and finding that the Presidents position wasn't filled at the AGM and remains vacant I'm prompted to make a suggestion which I hope will have support.

In theory the club is running like a ship without a Captain. So how about filling that post to become Joint Presidents with Mr. & Mrs. Pete Phillips at the helm.

Surely this would be a most suitable reward for their many years of loyal service to the club.

It would be good to see if others feel this way and would voice their support and indeed if Pete & Jane would be happy to accept the post.  I hope so.

I think you will find that David Allen was elected as President at AGM.

Guess the contacts list needs updating.
