Godalming Town FC - the future
Godalming Town FC relies on a small army of volunteers with nobody behind the scenes taking a penny from the club. There is always a lot to do and as the club gets more successful the workload continues to increase.
We are therefore seeking individuals with some time (no matter how little) to come and volunteer with us.
Volunteering is a great way to develop and gain all kinds of transferable skills that can be added to your C.V. Your contribution will also directly impact the on-field success of our First Team, Ladies Team and Youth Team.
Jobs
PROMOTION – We are looking for people to help us promote the club all over town.
MATCH DAY – Help us on match days from turnstile operators, stewards, hospitality, ballboys, bar staff, programme sellers and many more.
BEHIND THE SCENES - There are a million different jobs that take place all through the week.
NEW – We already have a diverse range of skills but we don’t have knowledge about everything. If you think there’s something we are missing that you could help us bring about…get involved! We really want to hear from you...
How To Get Involved
Please speak to Glenn if you are interested in helping GTFC progress. He can be contacted via 07790 332587, info@godalmingtownfc.co.uk and would be happy to chat on matchdays.

It makes one wonder as twice over the last two seasons another gentleman and myself as we both have experience of the subject offered our help in assisting with the programme. We never even got a thanks, but no thanks. We got bu**er all response and a committee member would probably back that up if he was requested to do so.

The matchday programme is something that I will be looking for someone to take on next season as our current programme editor is finishing at the end of the season. The person would need to have experience in design software - Adobe InDesign which is what our programme editor uses. Actual input as to what goes in the programme we dont require as the current structure of the programme is good and informative (there is a couple of things I would edit). The programme files normally get sent to our printer on the weds morning before the Saturday or following Tuesday home game. If you have any experience in using this software or has it on their computer or laptop, please email info@godalmingtownfc.co.uk where I am happy to discuss things further.
