Hello All,I'd like to say thank you for your best wishes, and to Les and the team for the card. The Doc has decided to fit a pacemaker in about two weeks time which is just a day job,so I should be fine after.I spent a few days in hospital for observation to see what was going on.I gave up my position at the club last year as I couldn't do any more manual work, which I had done for the last 36 years,I found it hard but I had to do it.Over all those years I worked with some great guys and it at times fun.People who are missed, dear Old Bill what a man! my dear friend Dennis Ford,Kev Shepard [come back Kev!] the pitch needs you,and a hundred more.So many managers I can't remember them all but I must mention Roger Steer thanks Rog for that great season's double!oh what a season. To the best managers we ever had Bakes &Unders what a time we had never to be forgotten the 2-1 win over Worcester City from Conference North and probably the finest game of football most people had ever seen v Bognor Regis what a game it was breathtaking what a team!from then on it went down hill until Les became manager what a great guy.So I urge supporters who can help him during the summer do so he wants a lot of help, the club will need it when Man.Un. come down tidy the place up and be proud of the club.Make Old Bill proud! finally I want to thank Jane for all her work over 36 years doing nearly every job in the club.

I had no idea you were suffering from anything more than the usual pain all G supporters feel Pete. Best of luck with the op. The team always needs more pace x

Best of luck Pete. I've just come out after spending a few days with a very stubborn and painful kidney stone that I have christened Chuck Martini. See you soon.

That's good news Pete. I had a feeling I thought I saw you last sunday on the TV in that big race in London! You'll be able to use your bus pass for a little while!

Well done Pete! Quick question: Does the pacemaker give you any super powers? I'm thinking instead of Iron Man, you might be Ironing Man.
